Hi, I’m Rachel Ramsey
I’m certified in Natural Wellness, Holistic Hormone Health, and Gut Health.
I work with busy women and Moms who want to feel their best by balancing their hormones and healing their gut.
How did I get here? After having my first daughter I was overjoyed with becoming a mother but miserable at the same time. Physically I was fatigued and weak. Emotionally I was overwhelmed and overstimulated. I wanted balance but felt off-kilter most of the time. I decided that I wanted to learn more about my body to help me understand and possibly figure out why I was feeling so awful.
So, I set out on my path to health by getting trained and certified in Natural Health with the Trinity School of Natural Health. I learned so much and was amazed at how intricately detailed our body systems are and how they work together. But, even after gaining all this new knowledge, I was seeking more understanding about my hormones and how they affected my body and mood. I decided to get more training and received a second certification with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in Holistic Hormone Health. What I learned fascinated me and helped me to start making some substantial changes in my own life. I was able to begin balancing my hormones, mood, and even hunger! I started to feel better emotionally and physically. However, something I kept hearing over and over again during all my schooling was that healthy and balanced hormones start…in the Gut! So, after I completed my second certification I decided that I wanted to go back to school once more to help me better understand the Gut and how to heal it. So, I received my third certification, this time in Gut Health again with IIN.
Now, after three years in school, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through my various certifications coupled with my own personal experiences and revelations balancing and healing myself. Every woman deserves to feel healthy and at her best and I am excited to help you in your healing journey.

why the name Balanced and Healed?
Our bodies crave balance; homeostasis. Thankfully, God designed our bodies to tell us when something isn’t balanced.
With most cars, when something isn’t working correctly in the engine, the engine light turns on to alert us to an issue. Much like a well-oiled machine, our bodies also try to alert us when something is off-balance. It’s a way of “expressing health”. When we experience issues like infertility, headaches, sleeplessness, and bloating that’s our body just trying to communicate a need.
Unfortunately, most conventional doctors don’t look at these symptoms as insight into an underlying imbalance, they simply treat the issue. They are essentially slapping on a bandaid instead of treating the imbalance inside.
I help you learn how to listen. We work together to uncover possible root causes and I guide you along your path to optimal health and balance.
